Dragon Wing by artist Leslie Lowdermilk

I have been reading a lot of fantasy recently, much of which contains mythical beings like dragons, fairies and other creatures. At the completion of this work, I was amazed at how much it looked like most of the descriptions of dragons in the fantasy books I was reading. It seemed to me that I could reach into the painting and feel the beautiful scales of a dragon. So when I looked at it closely, all I could think of was how much it matched the pictures in my mind from the various books I had been reading.
