Static Motion by artist Anselmo Ornelas

This piece explores the overwhelming pressure of modern existence. I wanted to capture the anxiety of feeling trapped in a race you never agreed to run. The sky is a finish line that is everywhere and nowhere, creating a sense of inescapable urgency. The zebra is inherently anxious and exposed, mirroring the isolation people feel in a fast-paced world. It is a visual manifestation of vulnerability, isolation, and the quiet panic of being left behind.
