Amber Dawn Buck is a photographer based in Austin, where she continues to grow and create within a landscape that constantly inspires her. She has been practicing photography since 2006, currently working primarily in macro photography.
Amber is especially drawn to nature, storms, and the ever-changing qualities of light. Through her macro work, she focuses on the small details that are often overlooked—the delicate textures, patterns, and quiet moments that reveal themselves when you slow down and look closely.
Across her work, light is both a subject and a guide. Whether photographing the small details hidden in nature or a sweeping scene shaped by a storm, Amber approaches each image with curiosity and intention. Her photographs invite viewers to pause, look closer, and experience all the beauty and intensity of the natural world.
