Maribel F. Mast is a central Texas pastel artist who loves stories and nature. As a member of the Austin Pastel Society she exhibits regularly in their juried and non-juried shows.
She earned a BA from U.T. Austin, taking a few art classes which reinforced her love of drawing and painting. After teaching elementary special education in four states, she and her husband moved to Bastrop, Texas, where she was re-introduced to the art of pastels. Workshops and participation in a thriving art community have continued to inspire her and grow her love for her art and pastels.
Maribel is a member of the Austin Pastel Society, the Lost Pines Artisans Alliance in Smithville, and the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop. Her artwork can be viewed on Instagram at @mfmastartwork and she can be contacted at mfmastartwork@gmail.com.
