I am Mozelle Marks an artist deeply captivated by the world around me, engaging with it through the vibrant colors of painting on canvas or wood. My work invite viewers into a visual narrative of everyday life and objects that surround us. As an avid photographer, I capture scenes from bustling cityscapes, serene landscapes, and everyday objects in our daily lives. I translate these photographic moments into paintings that will connect with the viewer on an emotional level. As an Austinite much of my subjects are around the city and central Texas. I also spend time on the east coast. I studied art from an early age and continued at the University of Texas with emphasis in fine arts, architecture and interior design. I now pursue painting full time after years I was in the field of design. I have exhibited in galleries in central Texas, Arizona and Connecticut. I have also exhibited at numerous juried shows in other galleries, public facilities and online. My art is also on permanent display in public facilities.
