After studying art, I began seeing so much more of life around me. I have an appreciation of every aspect of nature that I never took the time to notice before. From morning sunrise, to shapes of clouds and the shade of trees, I become mesmerized by the simple, and fascinated with the gradation of colors. Interpreting moments of nature is now my passion.
I paint in Pastel or Oil. Pastel paintings create an aura and sensuality through the varied application of strokes and values. My oil paintings are more tonal in nature, simplifying the scene allowing the viewer to get more involved.
I am a member of Plein Air Austin, Austin Pastel Society, Pastel Society of America and Oil Painters of America.
I am pleased to also exhibit my work at Adams Galleries in Lakeway, Texas
